The Congress

The Externado of Colombia University, in co-organization with the United Nations Commission of International Trade Law – UNCITRAL and the Government of Colombia, has the pleasure to host the Second version of the Iberoamerican Congress of International Business Law next October 19th and 20th, 2015. This version has been gratefully joined to the commemoration of the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Vienna Convention on the international sale of godos.

The main aspects that will be covered on this second version are mainly related to the analysis of the International sale of goods Convention. These topics will be discussed in different panels integrated by members of the Advisory Council, Government delegates before UNCITRAL and regional and national experts. Simultaneous translations (English – Spanish – English) will be available for all conferences.

Annually, members of the Advisory Council meet in different locations looking to debating the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sales of Goods with academics and practitioners from all over the world. This is the first time that members of the Advisory Council meet in a Spanish speaking Latin-American country and we are honoured that this happens in Colombia and our University.
